Truganina Kindergarten 
Children that attend a 3 or 4-year-old Kindergarten will receive a saving of up to $2050 in fees for the year. Speak to one of our management team to find out more. Enrolments are now open for 2024.
Literacy: Our programme at the kindergarten will introduce your child to the basics of reading and writing. We will use age-appropriate activities and games to help your child develop their language skills.
Numeracy: At our kindergarten, we will help your child understand the basics of counting, sorting, and recognising patterns. We will also help them develop their problem-solving skills.
Social skills: At our early learning centre in Truganina, we will focus on helping your child develop social skills, such as sharing, taking turns, and respecting others. We believe that these skills are crucial for your child’s emotional and social development.
Creativity: We encourage your child’s creativity by providing opportunities for them to explore art, music, and drama. We believe that these activities can help your child develop their imagination and express themselves in a variety of ways.
Stem: Science activities and cognitive skills activities are integral parts of our program. More time is spent on play-based learning and more reinforcement of positive social behaviours.
School readiness: We ensure more time is spent on individualised learning, lunch boxes, show & tell, and a sense of belonging through “buddy time”, all contributing to your child’s school readiness.
Wellbeing programme: Our kindergarten in Truganina promotes higher self-esteem and independence, along with access to healthy, nutritional meals throughout the day.
Educational incursions/excursions: We offer these enriching experiences at no extra cost to families.
Kindergarten Programmes
- Our kindergarten in Truganina programmes are for children aged 3 to 5 years and are guided by University degree-qualified Early Childhood Teachers.
- Provide an innovative curriculum focused on left-brain logic and right-brain creativity.
- Include both structured and unstructured play-based learning that considers the child’s individual interests and development. Offer an ‘Individual Learning and Development Plan’ for every child with goals for learning developed in collaboration with families.
- Provide a learning focus time to prepare children for typical school hours and routine, while allowing flexibility for social development and play.
- Are guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS). Offer a funded integrated kindergarten program/long daycare.
